Meet Our Retired Girls
At Spartan Rottweilers, retirement is not an afterthought—it is a carefully planned, deeply intentional next chapter.
Our girls have given so much to our program, and now it is time for them to be celebrated as companions first and foremost.
They will be spayed prior to placement and will only be placed in homes that truly fit them.

Bellatrix
An affectionate, people-loving companion
who wants to be wherever you are.
Bellatrix is five years old and, in good overall health,
and quite simply, sunshine in dog form.
She is incredibly sweet and genuinely believes that everyone is her best friend. If someone knocks on the door—FedEx driver or otherwise—she would happily invite them in for pets. She has no guard-dog aspirations whatsoever; her superpower is affection.
Bellatrix does well with smaller dogs and has very little prey drive. While she has not lived with house cats, her overall temperament is gentle and non-reactive. Slow, thoughtful introductions to other dogs are important, ideally with a barrier such as a baby gate at first. I have a short video demonstrating how I recommend doing this safely and successfully, which will be shared with her future family.
Bellatrix already knows the house rules—she walks politely on a leash, responds to her commands, and is perfectly content listening to country music, instrumental, or even a little Disney while relaxing with her people.
Commands she knows: sit, down, wait, stay, place, off, back up, no, move
She will not do well in a home with bossy, dominant, or aggressive dogs. Bellatrix thrives in calm, kind environments where she can relax and soak up attention. She is deeply devoted to anyone willing to pet her, love her, and let her be their shadow.

Valkerie
A gentle, steady soul with a quiet devotion
and a calm, loving presence.
Valkerie is a sweet, gentle companion with a calm presence
and a deeply loyal heart.
She is five years old and in good health, She has always been what I would describe as an “old soul.” Even as a young dog, she carried herself with a steady, composed demeanor and never had the typical puppy chaos. She is content, observant, and deeply bonded to her people.
She is affectionate and enjoys attention, but her affection is quieter than Bellatrix’s. Valkerie is not a Velcro dog—she doesn’t need to be on top of you—but she likes to be nearby, checking in, and sharing space. Her loyalty is steady and consistent rather than exuberant.
Valkerie is deeply tuned in to her people—she walks calmly on a leash, understands her commands, and is happiest settling in close to those she knows and trusts, with country music, instrumental, or Disney quietly playing in the background.
Commands she knows: sit, down, wait, stay, place, off, back up, no, move
Valkerie is not mean or aggressive in any way. She simply prefers calm, respectful interactions. She does not have much patience for young, fast-moving, or overly pushy dogs, and a small, high-energy dog that darts or jumps would likely overwhelm her. She does best either as an only dog or with a compatible, low-energy adult companion.
In the right home, Valkerie is an incredibly easy dog to live with—quiet, predictable, and emotionally stable. She thrives in a calm household with routine and structure and would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a gentle, steady presence rather than constant activity.
At Spartan Rottweilers, a retired breeder is not a dog that needs to be rescued.
These girls have been loved, handled, trained, and known every single day of their lives. I don’t just know their pedigrees—I know their personalities, their routines, their comfort habits, and what makes them feel secure. They’ve lived in my home, been part of my daily life, and treated as family first and breeding dogs second.
When one of my dogs retires, it is not because she is no longer wanted. It is because I am choosing her well-being over everything else. If a female cannot safely carry a litter, or if her body tells us she’s done, that chapter closes—without hesitation. That decision is part of responsible breeding.
If you think you have the home for one of my girls, please contact me by email.
