Deposit, payment of purchase price, fees and Health Guarantee

Buyer, ____________ has paid a  $250  NON-REFUNDABLE  deposit to be placed on the waiting list for a male or female puppy.  When the puppy was born , they paid another $250 deposit. These deposits were deducted from the full purchase price of $2,100 which includes:

** FULL AKC registration   ** Up to date vaccinations and proper de-worming

** Vet checkup and state issued health certificate   ** Microchipping with Registration

** Puppy Protection Package

We guarantee the puppy to be healthy and sound at purchase for 3 days. The buyer must keep this Rottweiler parasite free and up to date with vaccinations and routine veterinarian visits. Prompt veterinarian attention must be made if the Rottweiler shows any signs of illness or medical distress.  Proper nutrition, and fresh water will be available at all times. We will not guarantee the personality of the puppy, any confirmation, the size and weight, the color, the markings or the breeding ability of the pup.

The puppy will come with up-to-date shots, so the buyer should not give an additional vaccine to the puppy within the first ten days unless otherwise instructed by the vet. It is the new owners responsibility to continue proper de-worming and to take the puppy for monthly exams , up to the age of 16 weeks or more as recommended by the vet. You must keep proof of the healthcare and maintenance of your puppy, which would include vaccinations and exams. Please keep these in your personal files. If you cannot show proof of your puppy’s regular veterinary care and/or timely vaccinations this will void the guarantee.

This guarantee will not cover spaying, or neutering, or undescended testes.

We offer a 14 Day Viral guarantee, a two year genetic health guarantee, and a lifetime of puppy advice.

Communicable Disease Guarantee:

Should the puppy die from communicable disease (this does not include parasites or hypoglycemia) with 14 days of purchase and the buyer promptly sought treatment by certified veterinarian, and if said vet certifies in writing that the pup was thought to have been exposed to the disease prior to leaving the breeder, the buyer will get a full refund of purchase price of the puppy within 45 days of certification of death or autopsy report.

Note on parasites: Puppies’ immune systems are still developing, causing them to be vulnerable for internal parasites, especially under stress. Moving to a new home, change of diet, and excessive handling are all stress factors that can compromise a puppy’s immune system response against worms, giardia, or coccidiosis. Every preventative effort has been made by the Breeder to mitigate these vulnerabilities. However, the buyer should be aware of them possibly occurring. These conditions are all treatable and are not reasons to warrant a return or exchange.

Genetic Health Guarantee: A warranty against all serious life-altering congenital disease or genetic defects is provided for up to two years from the puppy’s birthdate.

The buyer is responsible for having the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian within 3 days of purchase or the guarantee is void.

The vet will establish  a schedule for vaccinations and worming that will keep the puppy healthy.  The buyer must contact the breeder within 24 hours of any health concerns that arise with this vet visit.  Any health problems or concerns from this visit must be verified by providing veterinarian documentation and the vets phone number.  This guarantee is good for the purchase price or toward a replacement, if available, if the puppy is returned or dies (within 3 days of arrival). If the buyer chooses to keep the puppy, no replacement will be given and all medical costs and treatment are their sole responsibility. This health guarantee will be null and void.

This guarantee does not cover: coccidia or giardia, or preventable diseases resulting from lack of proper vaccinations.

We do not pay vet bills.

It is imperative that you keep your Rottweiler on a monthly heartworm preventative and de-wormer as puppies and dogs will inevitably come in contact with internal and external parasites through their environment.

The buyer agrees not to take the Rottweiler to any place frequented by other dogs or puppies until all vaccinations are completed due to the risk of contracting deadly diseases including, but not limited to Parvovirus. The buyer further promises to complete all vaccinations in a timely manner. Failure to comply with this and proper veterinary care shall void the Health Guarantee. If the buyer cannot show proof of your puppy’s regular veterinary care and or timely vaccinations this will void the guarantee. This guarantee will not cover spaying, or neutering, or undescended testes.

Do not let children "ride" the Rottweiler puppy or adult dog when growing or grown.  The buyer agrees that they have thoroughly researched the Rottweiler breed, and understand the many health issues they can possess.  The buyer is  responsible for all medical costs of the puppy. (No refunds will be given) This guarantee covers only the original buyer and not transferable.

If you cannot keep your puppy for any reason, please contact me for the first rehoming choice.

The puppy has been eating Purina puppy food. The buyer has received a sample with the puppy pack. While the puppy is growing, let them have all the food they want to eat. They should always have access to food and water. Though you may decide to feed your puppy three times a day or have unlimited access all day, Do not limit food until the puppy is 1 1/2 years old.

Limit of Liability:

The buyer agrees to release and hold harmless Spartan Rottweilers and Judy Conrad for all liabilities, damages, or injuries, caused indirectly or directly by the puppy to any person, animal, or property. (So if your puppy eats Dad’s favorite chair, we’re not buying you another one).

This agreement represents the entire agreement between the parties. Seller and Buyer have made no other agreements, promises, promises, representations or warranties, express or implied, unless specifically stated in this agreement.
