Spartan Rottweilers – Custom Puppy Transit Guide

Everything You Need to Know About Your Puppy’s Travel Day

Whether your puppy is arriving by flight or road, we want you to feel completely confident. Below is our carefully managed, low-stress transit process.

1. Shipping Method: Safe, Comfortable Cargo Flight

Your puppy will travel via a climate-controlled, pressurized cargo cabin—the same conditions used for military and service dogs. This is NOT the cargo “hold”—it is a pet-designated area, safe and regulated for animal welfare.

2. Why Our Puppies Travel So Well

We prepare your puppy long before they ever see a crate at the airport:

  • Crate training begins at 6 weeks
  • We introduce them to movement, noise, and temporary confinement gradually
  • Puppies arrive happy, curious, and ready to play—not traumatized

“He walked right out of the crate tail wagging and licked everyone like it was no big deal.” – Real buyer experience

3. Three Days Before Travel

Your puppy will receive:

  • a  state health certificate from our vet
  • a full vet checkup
  • all necessary paperwork required by airlines

We send you:

  • Pickup time and airport info
  • Crate size and airline confirmation
  • Online Flight Tracking link
  • Full puppy packet

4. Day of Travel

We arrive early and check in your puppy personally

They travel with:

  • A brand new travel crate (yours to keep)
  • Plenty of absorbent paper litter
  • Extra food for the trip
  • Food and water bowls attached (airline rules apply)

5. When You Pick Up Your Puppy

  • Bring an ID and your airline waybill/confirmation number
  • You’ll pick up your puppy at the airline’s cargo office (ask at the ticket desk if unsure)
  • Let them potty and offer small amounts of water ( use potty pads until you get home)
  • Plan a calm, quiet ride home and limit over-stimulation

6. What to Watch for at Home

Your puppy may be sleepy for a few hours—this is normal

Expect:

  • Temporary loose stool from excitement or travel
  • Strong bonding opportunity—take it slow

We provide a Puppy Transition Guide to help your first 48 hours go smoothly

7. Need Help?

We’re just a text or call away. If you have ANY questions once your puppy arrives, don’t hesitate to reach out.
