Spartan Puppy Academy & Extended Stay Options
Every Spartan puppy is raised with a structured routine, early socialization, and positive experiences before going home. For families who have a Spartan Puppy and would like an even greater head start, we offer three levels of extended stay designed to meet your family's needs.
All Extended Stay Programs Include
- Premium puppy food
- Routine healthcare
- Age-appropriate vaccinations (excluding Rabies)
- Daily care and socialization
- A safe, family-style home environment
- Plenty of love and individual attention
Level 1 - Extended Stay Boarding
$200/week
Safe, trusted care in our home.
If you're traveling or simply need extra time before bringing your puppy home, your puppy will stay in our home—not a boarding kennel or training facility. They'll continue receiving the same structured routine and loving care they're accustomed to while waiting to join your family.
This option does not include formal training.
Level 2 – Extended Stay + Potty Foundation
$600/week
Recommended Stay: 2 - 3 Weeks
Includes everything in Level 1, plus:
A great option for families who want a head start on house training and crate routines.
During your puppy's stay, we'll establish a consistent daily schedule focused on:
- Potty training routines
- Crate training
- Sleeping through the night
- Basic house manners
- Building confidence and independence
While no young puppy can be completely house trained in two - three weeks, this program establishes the routines and habits that make the transition home much easier. We'll also provide guidance so you can continue that progress after your puppy joins your family.
Level 3 – Spartan Puppy Academy – Foundation Program
$900/week
Recommended Stay: 3–4 Weeks
Includes everything in Levels 1 & 2, plus:
Give your puppy a head start before they come home.
Our Puppy Academy is designed to build a strong foundation through daily structure, repetition, and positive experiences. Your puppy lives with us in a family-style environment where learning takes place throughout the day—not just during scheduled training sessions.
During their stay, your puppy will be introduced to:
- Basic obedience (Sit, Come, Stay)
- Walking on a leash
- Threshold and door manners
- Bite inhibition
- Confidence-building exercises, including stair climbing and navigating different surfaces
- Grooming and veterinary handling
- Exposure to new people, sounds, surfaces, and environments
- Short car rides and everyday household experiences
The Puppy Academy is designed to build a foundation
-not create a fully trained puppy.
Just as children continue learning after kindergarten, your puppy will continue developing these skills after coming home. The habits established here provide a tremendous head start, but your consistency and continued practice are what turn these skills into lifelong behaviors.
Every Puppy Academy graduate receives:
- Videos demonstrating exactly how we teach each skill, so you can confidently continue training at home.
- A personalized progress report.
- Spartan Puppy Academy Graduation Certificate.
- Puppy Passport documenting your puppy's experiences and accomplishments.
- 30 days of follow-up coaching. You're welcome to send us videos of your puppy after they come home, and we'll review them and provide guidance to help you continue building on the foundation we've started.
Program Availability
To ensure every puppy receives the individual attention and consistency they deserve, spaces for all Extended Stay Programs are limited, only offered to puppy owners of Spartan Rottweilers
and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Enrollment and payment must be completed before your puppy's scheduled go-home date to reserve a spot. If an Extended Stay Program has not been reserved, your puppy will be ready to go home
at the standard 8-week pickup date.
